Recover & Thrive is developing a connected health platform that brings together health information, personalised insights and collaborative care to help people better understand their health over time.
We’re inviting patients, clinicians and carers to help shape the platform through our founding Patient Beta Programme.

The Problem
A More Complete Picture of Health
Recover & Thrive is being developed to bring together multiple dimensions of health and wellbeing into a single longitudinal view, including sleep, energy, symptoms, functional capacity, emotional wellbeing, biomarker data, wearable data, patient-reported outcomes and clinician insights.

Where we're starting: brain health and cognitive wellbeing
Our initial focus is cognitive wellbeing from perimenopause and menopause - where symptoms like brain fog, reduced concentration, memory concerns and cognitive fatigue are common, under-tracked, and often dismissed.
By developing and validating a longitudinal approach here first, we're building the foundation to support a much broader range of health conditions and recovery journeys.
Where we are today:
Patient app: in beta testing now
Clinical portal: launched October 2026 for clinical demonstrations
Working directly with individuals and clinicians navigating these challenges
Scientific Foundations & Leadership
Built on science. Designed around people
Recover & Thrive is founded by Dr. Ruth Mary Allan (PhD, Cantab), a Certified Brain Health Professional and Trauma Coach with 20+ years leading complex transformation programmes in regulated sectors (UKAEA, Defence, Energy).
The platform is being developed in collaboration with clinicians, recovery specialists and experts across brain health, functional medicine and cognitive performance - designed to support, not replace, clinical decision-making. Patient privacy, ethical AI and responsible data stewardship are core design principles.
"Recover & Thrive was inspired by seeing first-hand how difficult it is for individuals, families and clinicians to piece together fragmented health information - a challenge that's personal as well as professional for me."

For Clinicians & Healthcare Professionals
Healthcare professionals are often expected to make decisions based on fragmented information, brief consultations, and no visibility into what happens between appointments. Recover & Thrive is being developed to change that.
What it offers you:
Longitudinal visibility into patient changes over time, not just point-in-time snapshots
Improved patient engagement between appointments
More informed conversations and shared decision-making
Earlier identification of meaningful changes in health and wellbeing
A connected view across specialists, without replacing your clinical judgement
We're currently engaging clinicians and researchers who want to help shape it before launch.
For Performance Specialists
From surviving to thriving
If you support people through cognitive load, recovery or resilience - in sport, defence, executive performance, or workplace wellbeing - Recover & Thrive is being built to give you a longitudinal view of the same underlying signals we track: cognition, sleep, energy, and functional capacity over time.
We're inviting pilot conversations with organisations committed to improving the longitudinal view of their employees or clients to recover and thrive.
For Investors & Partners
Recover & Thrive sits at the intersection of deep-tech, cognitive health and performance, and longevity - founded and led by Dr Ruth Allan with a medical imaging PhD and two decades of experience delivering complex, regulated technology programmes.
Where we are:
Patient app: in beta testing, live user feedback loop underway
Clinical portal: launched October 2026 for clinical demonstrations
Initial clinical focus: perimenopause/menopause-related cognitive decline - a large, underserved, and currently under-tracked population
To come: AI-driven pattern recognition across cognition, behaviour, wearables and biomarker data, developed with clinical input from the outset
We're in conversation with:
Investors specialising in deep-tech, cognitive health & performance, longevity, and women-led innovation
Clinical collaborators seeking integrated solutions to support their patients
Technology & strategic partners building the future of patient-centric, personalised health
Pilot organisations committed to protecting the cognitive resilience of their workforce
For Researchers
Run better trials, with less bias and lower cost
Recover & Thrive is being developed to let researchers run controlled, double-blind trials using real, anonymised patient data - without the overhead of traditional recruitment and data management.
Anonymised, controlled trials. Upload the parameters you want tracked, and Recover & Thrive independently anonymises participants and allocates control and test groups - keeping the trial genuinely double-blind, since neither you nor the patient knows who's in which group.
Track exactly what you need. Define the parameters you want monitored, and the platform tracks them consistently across the trial.
Unbiased results, delivered directly. Results are sent to you independently, keeping the process free from researcher influence.
Lower trial costs. Reduce the cost and complexity of running longitudinal studies by leveraging our existing patient population and data infrastructure.
A trial that can outlast the study. Patient platform access is funded by the researcher for the duration of the trial. Once it ends, patients choose whether to continue as paying subscribers, and researchers choose whether to extend the trial - so the relationship isn't forced to end just because the study period does.
Built on patient consent. Patients opt in to trials anonymously and choose which research they want to support - with the future ability to earn credits for sharing anonymised data with researchers of interest.
For Family Members & Carers
Supporting someone shouldn't mean working in the dark
When someone you care about is struggling with their health, being invited into their journey - with clear permission and visibility - makes it possible to actually help.
Be invited in. Join a patient or loved one's health journey when they invite you to support them.
See what you need to see. Gain permission-based access to their health record, so you're not relying on secondhand updates or guesswork.
Support them where it counts. Help during and between clinical appointments - not just on the day, but in the gaps where things often get missed.
One place, not scattered records. Their health data is centralised across multiple providers, so you can see the full picture instead of piecing it together yourself.

Coming: family accounts for parents
In the future, parents will be able to track their children's health trajectory in one place, alongside their own.
One family, one account. Manage multiple children under a single family account, with a clear picture of each child's health over time.
Share access where it's needed. Other trusted adults - a second parent, grandparent, or carer - can be granted access to a child's account too.
Grows with your child. Children stay under the family subscription until legally allowed to control their health data. At that point, the parent can choose to continue covering them under the family account, or the young person can choose to move to their own adult subscription.
For Patients & Individuals
Your health, all in one place
Bring together your health records from every provider into a single, centralised record — and decide exactly who gets to see it.
Centralise your records. Upload health records from multiple providers into one place, instead of chasing them down across different systems.
Control your data. Choose exactly who you share your record with, and how much they can see.
Track what matters, over time. Record cognitive performance and track how it changes — not just how you're doing today, but the trajectory.
Capture the full picture. Log pertinent past health events, and upload images relevant to a specific health event, so nothing gets lost between appointments.
Bring your carer with you. Invite a carer to support you on your health journey, with visibility into what you choose to share.
Share selectively with clinicians. Restrict how much of your personal health data each clinician can see — you're in control of every relationship.
